Shield parted by a chevron Argent of Gules and Sable, three lozenges Argent ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The chevron is taken from the arms of the Pfeffenhausen family, the lozenges from those of the Ecker family from Kapfing. Both ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark). In 1649 Franz Ecker was born in the village. He had been Bishop of Freising from 1695 and 1727. His episcopal arms also displayed three lozenges.
