Meaning:
The well is taken from the old arms of Bad Bocklet, version 1969. Christoph Franz of Hutten, Bishop of Würzburg between 1724 and 1729, bordered the local mineal spring in 1725. The tinctures blue and silver are characterising the town as a Bavarian public spa (German: Staatsbad). The dexter inescutcheon displays the family arms of the Counts of Henneberg and is representing Aschach. The counts had been local rulers and built the local castle. The sinister inescutcheon dispalys the arms of the Lebenhan-Rotenkolben kin. Its members had been chief foresters of the Bishopric of Würzburg in the so called Salt Forest (German: Salzforst).
