Meaning:
The housemark consists of a chevron and a chevron reversed overlapping one another. The sign is taken from the court seal of Ulmet. The crozier is an attribute of St. Remigius and representing the so called Country of Remigius. The lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of Veldenz, former rulers.

Shield parted per bend sinister wavy, above right Vert a crozier issuant Ot, beneath left Argent a castle Azure, orle of 16 segments alternating of Azure and Or.
Meaning:
The staff is an attribute of St.Remigius and representing the so called Country of Remigius. It can also be found on the arms of the namesake city. The castle is a rpesentation of the nearby Lichtenberg Castle. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

Meaning:
The housemark consists of a chevron and a chevron reversed overlapping one another. The sign is taken from the court seal of Ulmet. The bishop is St. Remigius. He is alluding to close connections to the Bishopric of Reims in the Medieval, The lion is a differentiated lion of the Counts of Veldenz. He is symbolising that the village belonged to that county and later to the Principality of Pfalz-Zweibrücken.

Meaning:
The sinister half displays the Palatine lion, as the village belonged to the Principality of Pfalz-Zweibrücken, the Principality of Pfalz-Veldenz and the Palatine Electorate. Tower and mount are a representation of the Potzberg, a mountain, and the viewpoint on its peak.

Shield Vert parted by a bend sinister wavy Argent superimposing a crozier Or issuant from base.
Meaning:
The bend sinister wavy is a representation of the name giving Kuselbach, a creek. The staff is an attribute of St.Remigius and representing the so called Country of Remigius, the nearby Benedictine Remigius Provostry and the close relationships of the village to the cathedral and the Benedictine St. Rémi Abbey, both in Reims, until the 9th century. The green colour is symbolising meadows and acres. A farm belonging to the provostry had been the germ cell of a settlement, which gained city rights probably in 1286.

The wavy line is a representation of the Kuralb, a local creek. The lion is symbolising that the village belonged to the Principality of Pfalz-Zweibrücken. The initials are taken from the court seal of Ulmet. Oberalben belonged to its court district until the end of the 18th century. The initials are known from court seals since 1753.
