Maxdorf Associated Municipality Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a pall reversed Argent, above right Gules a royal crown Or, above left Gules a watermill wheel Or, beneath Azure an eagle Argent armed and tongued Gules, orle of 14 pieces alternatimg of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The eagle is taken from the arms of the Counts of Leiningen. The crown is alluding to King Maximilian "Max" I of Bayern, name giver of the municipality. The wheel is a representation of the watermill of Eyersheim. The orle is symbolising the staus of an associated municipality.

Flag and banner were approved on 15 December 1983. The arms were approved on 18 August 1981 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Neustadt.

Meaning:
The wheel is a representation of the watermill of Eyersheim. The birches (German: Birken) are canting elements.

Fußgönheim Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above parted per pale, at dexter Or a wheel Gules, at sinister Azure an eagle Argent armed and tongued Gules; beneath Argent a fox salient Gules.
Meaning:
The wheel is talen from the arms of the Bolanden family, the eagle from those of the Counts of Leiningen. Both had been former local rulers. the fox (German: Fuchs) is a canting element, as the name of the municipality is derived from Fuchsgönheim.

Maxdorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above lozengy of Argent and Azure charged with a royal crown Or, beneath quartered of Argent and Gules superimposed by a fess wavy Azure charged with a trunk raguly Or.
Meaning:
The upper half is referring to King Maximilian "Max" I of Bayern, name giver of the municipality. The lower half displays the quartered shield of Leiser of Lambsheim kin. Fess wavy and trunk are referring to an old channel, where timber for the salt refinery of Bad Dürkheim was rafted in the past.

The flag was approved on 20 August 1989. The arms were approved on 12 July 1957 by Minister of Interior of Rheinland-Pfalz.
