Shield Or, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, crowned by an embattled tower Gules, charged with an inescutcheon, displaying the arms of Hesse.
Meaning:
The arms display the medieval Wittelsberg entrenchment, which was used by the Landgraves of Hesse in order to control the traffic on the street across the Ebsdorfer Grund between the dominions of the Archbishopric of Mainz.
