Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a bend wavy Or, two 6-point stars, one in sinister chief, one in dexter base.
Meaning:
The arms display the F. CROMBACH GERICHTSSIEGEL, a court seal from the 17th century. The colours were fixed in 1926, they had been the colours of the arms of two local families: the Prettlack kin and the Gemmingen kin. The latter gained market rights and the rule in the Lordship of Crumbach in 1692, finally in 1802. Crumbach before had been a dominion of the Lords of Crumbach and its younger Rodenstein branch. Otto Hupp had displayed the arms erroneously with a bend sinister wavy Argent.
The arms were approved in 1926 by Minister of Interior of Hesse.
