Shield Azure a church Argent seen from south with roofs Gules.
Meaning:
The pattern with the canting church has never been changed since 1481. The first seal print from 1491 displayed the church in a Spanish shield. Georg Apian (1565) and Hans Mielich (1568) put the church onto a green base. The shape of the church varied during the 19th century. The original pattern was restored by Otto Hupp and is in use on seals and arms since then.
