Ispringen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a pair of shearer's scissors Or.
Meaning:
The scissors had been the family arms of the Lords of Neidlingen in the 13th and 14th century. They appeared in seals of the family since the 14th century. Ispringen was colonised as an extension of Neidlingen village, which was unpeopled in the late Medieval. In 1564 the Margraves of Baden acquired the village. The tinctures are alluding to the Badenian arms.
