Shield Gules with base wavy Argent, a church Argent with two towers with roofs Or, in sinister chief a palm frond and a key in saltire both Argent.
Meaning:
The church is taken from the arms of the Augustine Convent of Herrenchiemsee, to which the municipality historically belonged until 1803. Key and palm frond are taken from the arms of the Imperial St. Emmeram Abbey in Regensburg with Vogtareuth as eat of a provost. The abbey was also an important manorial lord until 1803. The base wavy is representing the local pond and the surrounding lakes.

The arms were approved on by 1 August 1957 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The banner has never been approved officially.
