It is a red - white - red triband with ratio 1.3.:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Description of coat of arms:
The red shield is divided by a silver(=white) sinister-bendy wavy line. In the upper dexter corner is a bendy golden(=yellow) anchor turned upwards down. In the lower sinister corner is a silver(=white) leaf of a water-lily.
Meaning:
According to source the water-lily and the colours red and white are taken from the arms of the counts of Tecklenburg, the wavy line is symbolizing the creeks Düte and Haase. The anchor is said to have been taken from the arms of local kin of von Harde.
