Shield Argent, in saltire a crozier Gules over a sword Azure, chief Gules charged with an ammonite Or.
Meaning:
The crozier is alluding to the abbeys of Herbitzheim/Elsass, Hornbach and Wörschweiler, which had political influence in the Medieval, the sword probably is alluding to the Romans or their successors the Merowingians. The ammonite may represent the local shell-bearing limestone (German: Muschelkalk).
