Shield Azure, issuant from base a chapel Argent, in chief a key Argent and a crozier Or in saltire.
Meaning:
The chapel is a representation of that one, belonging to the local graveyard, famous for its images of death dance. It was built in Renaissance style and is the local landmark. Crozier and key, the latter an attribute of St. Peter, are taken from the arms of the Benedictine Oberaltaich Monastery, who held the right of patronage of the local parish church since 1225. The tinctures blue and white are those of the Counts of Bogen.
