Shield Vert, issuant from base a mount chequered of Vert and Argent, on its top a small octagonal house Argent with port and two windows Sable.
Meaning:
All charges are referring to the production of linen. The house is the so called bleaching cottage, the chequered mount is symbolising the linen, drying on the local meadows.
