Shield Vert, a bend sinister Argent, superimposed by a bear rampant Sable, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
On 1 October the municipalities of Kirchdorf, Klengen and Überauchen merged. The new municipality was called Brigachtal. The bend sinister is representing the Brigach creek. The bear is taken from the arms of St. Gallen Monastery, which owned estates in Kirchdorf and Klengen, which had been mentioned first in 765 in a deed of the monastery.
