Shield Argent, a throughout embattled wall Gules, in its centre a gate with stepped Gable and a double headed eagle sable armed Gules in its open door Argent.
Meaning:
The building is symbolising Friedeburg Castle. The eagle is taken from the arms of the former Hannoverian district (German: Amt) Friedeburg.
The arms were approved on 8 November 1973
