Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei Föhr-Amrum GmbH.
Description of flag #1: It is a black over white over red horizontal
tricolour. Within the white stripe are black, dotted, unserifed capitals
“W.D.R.”
Source: I saw an image of this flag in Hamburg March 2008 in a Cigarette-Album
about Llloyds Flags. The source is dated probably in the 1930's.

Description of flag #2: It is a black over white over red horizontal
tricolour. Within the white stripe are black, dotted, unserifed capitals
“W.D.R.”. The canton is a yellow over red over blue horizontal tricolour.
The tricolour is the same as German merchant flag before WWI. The canton
however shows a East Frisian tricolour. I believe, that the canton was
added not earlier than 1945 but I don’t know exactly.

Westdeutsche Reederei GmbH
The company was located in Duisburg. It is a green over white over
red tricolour, the colours of Northrhine Westphalia, but divided per bend
sinister. In the white stripe are black, dotted capitals “W.R.”.

A deep sea operator at least for 1954-1965, it apparently became an inland waterways company. US Navy 1961 shows a slightly version with a narrower white band and letters without dots on the same angle as the band.
Apparently connected with this company [in the index there is a link of Westdeutsche Reederei - old flag which connects individually with both] under the heading of WDR old flag there is a triband of black-white-red with the black letters "W.D.R.". This should be deleted as it has no connection with Westdeutsche Reederei and is in fact correctly shown on the page "WDR (German Shipping Company) being
Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei GmbH as imaged by Eugene Ipavacon info from Klaus-Michael Schneider being sourced from the Lloyds Reedereiflaggen cigarette album of 1933 being No,.126, also being shown in the Massary cigarette album of 1930 No. 285. The company is now Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei Föhr-Amrun GmbH and its history is available in a pfd download of its latest house magazine at this webpage with the site also showing its current flag image in line with that shown on the "WDR" page by Klaus-Michael Schneider. Unfortunately the history does not appear to shed any light on when the flag change was made but my German translation is suspect alas so a check by someone else may shed more light.

Above is what I believe to be the Lloyds album picture, showing the
old W.D.R. house flag. This was one of the images I managed to save from
an Auctiva page (providing large images for eBay sellers) on 15 Aug 2007
(no info saved as to who put it up).
If I may believe another eBay offer (German no. 160036306018, accessed
1 Oct 2006 and put up by "tiger1655"), the publisher was Martin Brinkmann
A.G. Zigarettenfabrik Bremen, 1933, 'Lloyd Reedereiflaggen der Welt-Handelsflotte'
(i.e. Lloyd Shipping Companies of the World's Commercial Fleet).
It concerns book 5 (how many where there?) which is said to contain 396
images.
No idea where exactly the W.D.R. house flag was located - it is the
exact style of drawing however.
