Presentation of Muñogalindo

The municipality of Muñogalindo (408 inhabitants in 2009; 1,877 ha) is located in the center of Ávila Province, 20 km of Ávila.

Symbols of Muñogalindo

The flag and arms of Muñogalindo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 7 March 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 12 March 2001 by the Mayor, and published on 2 April 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 66, p. 5,464 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of a red panel with a white triangle whose vertices are the upper and lower hoist and the mid point of the fly, superimposed with another, red triangle with a white house whose vertices are in upper and lower hoist and at 1/2 of the hoist.
Coat of arms: Argent a fess gules charged with three houses argent in chief three spikes vert in base a bull gules. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
