The municipality of Campillo de Llerena (1,390 inhabitants in 2017; 23,400 ha) is located 135 km east of Badajoz and 50 km north of Llerena.

The flag of Campillo de Llerena, adopted on 19 May 2006 by the Municipal Council and validated on 1 January 2007 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, is prescribed by an Order issued on 23 January 2007 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 8 February 2007 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 16, pp. 2,123-2,124 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Divided by a cross in width 1/12 of the flag's width, whose arms are made of two yellow and red stripes, alternate. The upper quarter at hoist and the lower at fly, green, the two other, white. The flag is charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms in height 3/6 of the flag's width.
The coat of arms of Campillo de Llerena, adopted on 8 April 1991 by the Municipal Council and validated on 27 November 1991 and 31 March 1992 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, is prescribed by an Order adopted on 24 June 1992 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 2 July 1992 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 52, p. 1,557 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a Cross of Saint James gules surrounded by two scallops of the same, 2. Vert the church's tower proper. Grafted in base. Or a branch of oak with two acorns and two leaves proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
