The municipality of Adrada de Haza (252 inhabitants in 2009; 1,028 ha; municipal website) is located in the south of the Province of Burgos, 100 km of Burgos.
Adrada de Haza, once known as Adrada, belonged to the Community of the Town and Land of Haza, ruled by the Counts of Miranda.

The flag and arms of Adrada de Haza, designed by Friar Valentín de la Cruz, the official Chronicler of Province of Burgos, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 11 April 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 12 April 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 4 May 2006 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 85, p. 8,370 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular flag, 1:1, tricolor, with horizontal stripes. First, red (0.30); second, white (0.40); and third, yellow (0.30), in the middle the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules, Castile, 2. Gules a martyr's palm argent a column of the same ensigned by a dove rising of the same, grafted in base argent a calvary sable with several steps a cross with a capital of cylindric arms and in relief the Crucifixion and Mary, surrounded by a grapevine vert (leaves) and sable and a hemp vert. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed, representing the Kingdom of Spain.
The flag hoisted over the Town Hall (photo) has proportions 2:3 instead of the prescribed 1:1 (most probably to match the proportions of companion flags); the coat of arms slightly overlaps the upper and lower stripes.
