The flag of Cogollos is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 September
2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 4 October 2001 by the Mayor,
and published on 17 October 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 202 (text). The very same Decree was published again on 16 November 2001 in the official gazette of Castile and Leon, No. 223, p. 16,758 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular, with proportions 1:1. Green; three gyrons coming for the host, equidistant and of 7/10 in width, yellow, white and blue. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms.
The coat of arms of Cogollos is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 12
March 1998 by the Burgos Provincial Government, signed on 16 March 1998 by the President of the Government, and published on 31 March
1998 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 61 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Vert the arms of Castile or masoned sable port and windows azure, in chief an eight-pointed star argent surrounded by two sickles argent in base two waves argent and azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown.
