The municipality of Cabezuela del Valle (2,335 inhabitants in 2016, 5,700 ha) is located 120 km northeast of Cáceres.

Flag of Cabezuela del Valle

The flag (photo) and arms of Cabezuela del Valle, adopted on 15 October 1987 by the Municipal Council and validated on 10 June 1988 by the Royal Academy of History, are prescribed by an Order issued on 23 June 1988 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 5 July 1988 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 53, p. 743 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Vertically divided, 1. Yellow, an uprooted oak in full colors (sic), 2. White with a red lion rampant crowned in red.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Or an oak eradicated vert, 2. Argent a lion rampant gules crowned or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
