Symbols of Alcohujate

The flag of Alcohujate is prescribed by an Order issued on 8 July 2008 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 16 July 2008 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 147, p. 24,427 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, twice longer than wide. Per pale azure and gules. In the gules part, the coat of arms of Alcohujate.

The coat of arms of Alcohujate is prescribed by an Order issued on 8 July 2008 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 16 July 2008 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 147, p. 24,427 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Upper part, Gules a tower or standing on a hill [alcor] argent. Lower part, three wavy lines azure. A green background. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.

The Royal Academy of History rejected the proposed arms, arguing that it is not acceptable to use the arms of a specific lineage only because the lineage's name was reported in the place, which would be a kind of historical falsification. The modified arms could use the first quarter of the proposal, with the addition of some other charges.
The Academy did not object to the proposed flag, provided it is charged with a new coat of arms.
