The flag of Cervera del Llano is prescribed by an Order issued on 15
April 1997 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 2
May 1997 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 19, p. 2,372 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3, composed by six horizontal stripes in turn white and red, the red stripes bretessed in their upper part.
The coat of arms of Cervera del Llano is prescribed by an Order issued
on 15 April 1997 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published
on 2 May 1997 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 19, p.
2,372 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules three fesses argent bretessed on top, 2. Argent a garb of three wheat spikes vert. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
The Royal Academy of History validated the proposed coat of arms,
suggesting minor modifications. The arms allude to the protohistoric
fortified camps found on the municipal territory and the dominant grain
cultivation. The "unfortunate" representation of the wheat spikes has to
be corrected: the spikes should be of bigger size, with vertical
development fitting the field.
The Academy rejected the proposed flag, which features the first quarter
of the arms with the color and arrangement altered in an "arbitrary and
unnecessary manner".

The archeological site of El Recuenco hill was proclaimed a National
Monument of historical and artistical interest by Royal Decree No.
3,555, signed on 21 December 1983 and published on 8 March 1984 in the
Spanish official gazette, No. 58, p. 6,575 (text).
Archeological excavations performed in 1979 yielded artefacts from the
Age of Bronze, as well as fortified walls from the same period, which
require consolidation and preservation. The walls are up to 1 m in height.

Vegetal impressions on mud and vegetal remains show that the people from
"house J" (dated to the 15th century BC) cultivated wheat, barey,
olive trees, holm oaks. broad bean and flax . This is d¡rect evidence of
the practice of intensive and extensive agriculture in Ihe Middle Bronze
Age in La Mancha.
