The flag of Portilla is prescribed by an Order issued on 22 April 2009
by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 15 May 2009 in
the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 92, p. 21,367 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Distributed like an area grafted in base, the grafted triangular area, yellow, and the rest of the panel's area, blue. The panel's proportions shall be 2:3, that is, one and a half longer than wide.
The coat of arms of Portilla is prescribed by an Order issued on 22 April 2009 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 15 May 2009 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 92, p. 21,368 (text).
Coat of arms: Spanish shield. Azure a star or grafted in base of the same. The shield surmounted by a Royal Spanish crown.
The symbols, designed by the Gestion y Servicios Culturales C.B. company - hired on 26 September 2005 by the Municipal Council -, was originally adopted on 26 March 2007 by the Municipal Council, as stated in an Announcement signed on 21 May 2007 by the Mayor and published on 25 May 2007 in the official gazette of the Province of Cuenca, No. 62 (text).
