The municipality of Campisábalos (66 inhabitants in 2015; 5,401 ha; municipal website) is located 100 km north-west of Guadalajara.
Campisábalos belonged in the Middle Ages to the Community of the Town and Land of Atienza. The village was first mentioned in 1269, and, then, in 1353, on the list of the villages of the Bishopric of Sigüenza. During the feudal period, the village was successively ruled by the houses of Medinaceli, Mendoza, Pastrana, of the Infantado, and Osuna.

The flag and arms of Campisábalos are prescribed by an Order adopted on
10 September 2015 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published
on 7 October 2015 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No.
197, p. 27,153 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Quartered per saltire. The triangles at hoist and fly, red, the upper triangle, green, the lower triangle, blue. All over a white saltire, in width 1/7 of the flag's width.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules (red) a saltire argent, 2. Argent a pine vert (green). Grafted in base, Argent waves azure (blue). The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
The symbols, designed by the Spanish Vexillological Society, were approved, unanimuously, on 19 June 2013 by the Municipal Council.
