The municipality of Miralrío (68 inhabitants in 2014; 821 ha) is located 40 km north-east of Guadalajara.

Symbols of Miralrío

The flag of Miralrío is prescribed by a Decree issued on 9 November 2011 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 2 December 2011 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 236, p. 40,028 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular panel in proportions 2:3, horizontally divided into three equal stripes, the upper white, the central green and the lower blue. Charged in the center with the crowned coat of arms of the place.

The coat of arms of Miralrío is prescribed by a Decree issued on 9 November 2011 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 2 December 2011 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 236, p. 40,027 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Vert a branch of kermes oak or, 2. Azure a baptismal font argent in chief a dog's head of the same. The shield surmounted by the Royal Spanish crown.

This is indeed the description of the coat of arms of Matarrubia. The correct description of the coat of arms of Miralrío was eventually published on 15 February 2012 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 34, p. 5,839 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Argent a village proper masoned sable on a mount vert in base waves azure and argent. The shield surmounted by the Royal Spanish crown.

The symbols were designed by the Spanish Vexillological Society. The width of the coat of arms shall be 50% of the flag's width.
