The municipality of Lascuarre (in Aragonese, Llascuarre; in Catalan, Lasquarri; 158 inhabitants in 2009; 3,190 ha; 647 m asl) is located in northern Aragón.
A significant place in the Middle Ages, Lascuarre has kept remains of a city wall and a medieval urban nucleus. The village church, dedicated to St. Mary, is a masterpiece of the Aragonese Gothic style (16th century). In the neighborhood, the ruins of the La Mellera fortress (11th century) recall that the region was once on the border between the Christian and Muslim states. The area was indeed reconquered from the Moors in 1021 by King of Navarra Sancho III the Great.

According to "Radio Huesca", the Council of Government of Aragón approved on 11 May 2010 the flag and arms of Lascuarre, as recommended by the Department of Territorial Policy, Justice and the Interior of the Government upon advice of the Council of Heraldry and Symbology of Aragón.
The flag of Lascuarre is blue with, in the middle, the Royal standard of Aragón, vertical, with only three red pales, covering 1/5 of the flag, and four yellow castles with red ports and windows, two at hoist and two at fly, one above the other.

The coat of arms of Lascuarre is: "De azur, medio palo, moviente del jefe, de oro, con tres palos gules, acompañado de cuatro castillos, de oro, aclarados de gules, dos acostados al palo y los otros dos en la punta. Al timbre, Corona del Escudo de España" (Azure a median pale issuing from the chief or three pales gules flanked by four castles or ports and windows gules two along the pale and two in the basis. The shield surmonted by the Crown of the Spanish coat of arms).

The image of the "official" coat of arms shown on an unofficial Lascuarre website does not completely match the aforementioned description but helps understanding the design of the arms, which could be blazoned as
Per fess, 1. Tierced per pale 1a. and 1c. Azure a castle or port and windows gules, 1b. Or three pales gules, 2. Azure two castles or port and windows gules per fess.On the same page, the coat of arms
Per fess, 1. Azure four castles argent 2 and 2, 2. Or four pales gulesis labelled as a sketch ("esquema") of the coat of arms.

Wikipedia shows a different version of the arms, sourced to "Aragón en sus escudos y banderas" (2007): "Cortado, primero, de azur, cuatro torres de plata; segundo, el Señal Real. Timbrado de corona real cerrada" (Per fess 1. Azure three towers argent, 2. the Royal Standard. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed). This must have been a proposal or an early draft subsequently modified before official approval.
