Symbols of Mansilla Mayor

The flag and arms of Mansilla Mayor are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 12 December 1998 by the Municipal Council, signed on 5 May 1999 by the Mayor, and published on 21 May 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 96, p. 5,485 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag with proportion 2:3, made of a white panel with a red diagonal stripe running from the upper hoist to the lower fly and two blue stripes running from the hoist to the diagonal.
Coat of arms: Argent a bend gules surrounded dexter with waves azure and argent sinister with a church gules. The shield surmounted with a Royal crowned crown.

A Decree signed on 25 May 1999 by the Mayor and published on 2 June 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 104, p. 5,896 (text) corrected the mistake in the description of the arms to "The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed".
