The flag of Miranda de Azán is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 21
March 1997 by the Salamanca Provincial Government, signed on 26 March 1997 by the
President of the Government, and published on 10 April
1997 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 68 (text).
The flag is described
as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular flag, with proportions 1:1, per pale serrated red and white 1:2. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms in full colors, surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
The coat of arms of Miranda de Azán is prescribed by a Decree adopted
on 26 July 1996 by the Salamanca Provincial Government, signed on 2
August 1996 by the President of the Government, and published on 14
August 1996 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 157 (text).
The coat of arms is described
as follows:
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a causeway vert a tower argent ensigned with a crescent of the same, 2. Or a castle sable masoned argent charged with a crescent of the same. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
