The municipality of Bobadilla del Campo (335 inhabitants in 2009;
3,301 ha) is located in the extreme north of Valladolid Province,
on the border with Ávila Province, 60 km from Valladolid.
Bobadilla was mentioned for the first time in 1256, as Bovadiella, a
parish depending of the abbey of Medina del Campo; in 1587, the
village had 130 inhabitants. In 1785, Bobadilla belonged to the Tierra
del Campo, originally granted in 1347 by King Alfonso XI to his
chamberlain Diego Fernández de Medina, and then ruled by the Count of
Grajal.

The flag and arms of Bobadilla del Campo are prescribed by a Decree
adopted on 24 August 2004 by the Municipal Council, signed on 27 August 2004 by the
Mayor, and published on 7 September 2004 in the
official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 173, p. 12,820 (text).
The symbols are described
as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag in proportions 2:3, made of a white cross throughout centered, with a height of 1/5 of the flag's hoist, the rectangles in upper hoist and lower fly red, in lower hoist green and in upper fly blue.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a mount vert ensigned with a chapel gules masoned sable port and windows argent, 2. Argent three fesses wavy azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
