Description

Luesia did not have symbols until 26 June 1996, when the City Council requested the Institución Fernando el Católico to design the arms and flag. (...) The flag was designed following the colours of the arms. Flag is rectangular 2:3, white, with red scandivanian cross, in fly a yellow triangle (length 1/3 of the flag). Pantones (both for arms and flag): Gold 871 C, Argent 877 C, Red/gules 1788 C2X, Yellow 803 C2X. Adopted by the City Council 25 April 1997. Source: Alberto Muntaner Frutos, La historia de Luesia y las nuevas armas de la villa, published by Luesia City Council and Fayanas Cultural Association. Mr. Muntaner is a well know heraldist and vexillologist. (...) Unluckily I do not know the date of its publication in the Official Bulletin of Aragon.
