Symbols of Peleas de Abajo

The flag and arms of Peleas de Abajo (municipal website) are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 3 July 2002 by the Municipal Council, signed on 17 November 2004 by the Mayor, and published on 30 November 2004 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 231, p. 17,293 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of a red triangle with its vertices in upper and lower hoist and in the midpoint of the fly, with a white Cross of St. John, the upper triangle yellow and the lower triangle blue.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules a Cross of St. John of Jerusalem argent, 2. Argent a grapevine vert fructed gules, grafted in base wavy azure and argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
