Symbols of Samir de los Caños

The flag and arms of Samir de los Caños, designed by Vicente Tocino Letrado and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 15 July 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 17 July 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 31 July 2006 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 146, p. 14,427 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of a green panel with a white quadrilateral with vertices in the upper hoist, the lower fly and the mid point of the flag's lower edge and of the fly, itself charged with another, blue quadrilateral with common vertices in the angles and the two other vertices at 1/3 of the lower fly.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Gules a fount with two pipes [caños] argent supplying water azure, 2a. Or three wheat spikes vert, 2b. Vert a ram's head argent. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
