Presentation of HSD

HSD was established in 2004, its most prominent figure being Zdravko Tomac, who for a long time was preparing secession from SDP. In the 2005 local election, HSD formed a coalition with HIP.

The flag of HSD is prescribed in the party's statutes as red with the white letters "HSD" in the middle and the name of the party in white letters, too, in the canton.
