Pescara is one of four provinces in the Region of Abruzzo. Its symbols were
adopted in 1928. The coat of arms and the gonfalon are still in use, however,
the flag was modified at an unknown date when the inscription "PROVINCIA DI
PESCARA" was added. Here are a coat of arms, gonfalon, current flag (in two
versions), and former flag.
