The Emblem

The emblem of the Academy is made of four concentric seven-pointed stars, from the center to the border:
- a golden yellow star;
- a white star;
- a red star fimbriated white;
- a red star.
The red stars have curved edges; accordingly, the whole emblem looks like a flower. This is reflected in the Academy's motto, written in Arabic and Latin in the upper border of the emblem, "floreat scientia", "Let knowledge flourish" (this motto is also used by Massey University, New Zealand). The name of the the Academy is written in capital letters in the lower part of the border, surmounted by the year of foundation, "2007".
