image by Tomislav Šipek, 31 October 2014
The city emblem was adopted on Nov 25th 1958 and the flag was adopted on Sep
1st 1988 by Notice No 46. The green flag has a gold city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is three = Mi stylized katakana サ Sa of Misawa. The three arrows
symbolize the pineneedles of the city's resources. The green color stands for an
abundant nature, pine trees bringing a calm and a plenitude, the gold color for
an invariable brightness and a beauty. The flag proportion is 2:3.

The flag of the city of Misawa is already reported, but I found two variants
of color of mark: yellow and white.
