The Flag

Kamogawa city in Chiba Prefecture adopted its emblem on 17 June 2005. A stylized hiragana Ka か. No flag legislation but they use following flag as practice.
flag proportion: 2:3; colour of field: white; colour of emblem: blue yellow and red; diameter of emblem: 3/5 flag height

The emblem features the katakana of Kamagaya (&12459;マガヤ) clockwise starting from the top right, stylised and forming the general shape of a circle with arrows point out to the left (from the top) and right (from the bottom). According to kamagaya.chiba.jp, the circle expresses peace and the arrows depict development/growth. The emblem was chosen from a public competition.

Amatsukominato Town / 天津小湊町

The flag of the former town of Amatsukominato was green with mark. The town is now, from 2005, part of the city of Kamogawa.
