The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 and
2. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is an
image of Takeda family crest water catrop and four brilliant grape berries. It
represents abundant nature, orchards with long history and culture and
interchanging city.

The flag of the former city of Enzan was green with mark. The city is now,
from 2005, part of the city of Koshu.
