Located in Nagasaki City Nagasaki Prefecture and established in 1981. The university flag has sky blue background with a white emblem in the center. The emblem was designed by Ms. Tomomi Aoki, an art teacher at the university, when the school applied for approval as a women's vocational school in 1918. The emblem is designed with a seal script "活" in the center, surrounded by three lines of collapsed kanji "水" in the shape of a Greek cross. The top part opens to accept the "living water" poured by God, and the grace poured out overflows from the spout in the gap on the right, covering the whole body. It expresses the founder's wish that the woman will grow up to be a woman of rich heart who is enriched by God's grace and who enriches those around her.
