Flag

Located in Nagano City Nagano Prefecture and established in 2018. The university flag has white background with a blue, sky blue and green logo mark in the center and the university name in black and English written horizontally. The logo mark is based on the motif of a river in Nagano Prefecture, which flows from its source to the world-class ocean, and is represented by the initial letter UN for the kanji word 川=river. The three colors represent the expectation for the students to make a leap forward and grow, as they leap from the headwaters to the ocean while being swept away by the rapids. The three lines represent industry, academia, and government, and also express the attitude of the university as the center of the region, working together to realize regional development.
