Overview

Kamajai (Rokiskis District) - on a red field over a silver cross joined with a silver rectangle a black thrush looking backwards. Flag proportions 5:7, free edges bordered with red and silver rope, finial is a silver tip with a ring and red and silver bands having golden tufts. The cross with rectangle represents the Market Square of the town, which is renowned as the urbanistic monument. The thrush symbolizes the priest and poet Antanas Strazdas ("strazdas" means "thrush" in Lithuanian), who lived his last years and died in Kamajai. The red field symbolizes blood spilled for country.
