1988. Based on earlier Riga flags with some corrections. Ratio

According to city regulations, the length of the coat of arms is 2/5ths of the length of the flag itself and the arms is placed in the center. The blue and white sections are in the same size; the Pantone color of the flag is 285 C (same shade as Estonia).
