Rumpt village
Rumpt is a village in the municipality of Geldermalsen, Gelderland province
- formerly in the municipality of Deil, along the Linge river, west of
the municipal seat of Geldermalsen.
Its flag can be admired at this
site. It is written:
"Simplicity adorns this village, simplicity is the base for this flag.
The six wavy blue stripes represent the Linge, as well as the streets of
Rumpt. The arms with the French fleurs-de-lis is the official arms of Rumpt
and originates from the family of the famous Otto van Scherpenzeel. The
flag is the result of a design competition in 1994."
