Ambt Delden former municipality
The road from Amsterdam to Berlin passes through Delden - Delden consisted
of "Stad Delden" (city of Delden), and "Ambt Delden", the surrounding countryside,
which became separate municipalities in 1816.
In 2001 both municipalities became part of the new municipality of
"Hof van Twente" - the garden of Twente. Heart of this municipality is
the Twickel Estate, according to online brochures quite worthwhile to visit
when journeying from A to B.
Ambt Delden: first flag: three horizontal equally wide stripes of yellow
and blue.
Never officially adopted.
Second flag: azure with towards the hoist three erased linden-trees,
placed 2,1.
Adopted 23 Feb 1984 by municipal resolution.
