A white spiral on blue. Adopted: 12 September 1986. Designer: Arvid Sveen.
The spiral represents the strong tidal current called Moskenesstraumen.
The drawing is less than perfect because the spiral is difficult to draw.

The design depicts the Moskenesstraumen, a strong tidal whirlpool south-east of
Moskenes island, some 4 km in diameter...
