Although there is a flag on FOTW page (Gunnar Staack 2001), it appears
to be an obsolete one.
The new flag came into being in 2002.
Boguszów-Gorce - urban commune, Wałbrzych County, Dolnośląskie Voivodhip
- former German name: Gottesberg-Rothenbach.
The city of Boguszów-Gorce was created in its present form in 1973
by the merger of 4 entities:
- Boguszów - (Gottesberg)
- Gorce - (Rothenbach)
- Kuźnice Świdnickie - (Fellhammer)
- Stary Lesieniec - (Alt Lässig)
According to the Law of 2002: "The Coat of Arms of the City is the shield divided
into three fields:
On the left field: a green hop leaf on gold (yellow).
On the right field: red and white chessboard in four rows.
On the bottom field: three hills identifying the vicinity of Boguszów-Gorce:
*Mount Mniszek
*Mount Chelmiec ( the highest one)
*Mount Dzikowiec
Hills in blue on red background.
The colors of Boguszów-Gorce are three horizontal stripes of green -
yellow - red."
