Brzeziny city flag
Brzeziny - urban commune, Brzeziny County, Łódzkie Voivodship - name under
Nazi occupation: Löwenstadt.
Arms: on the silver shield - fragment of the defensive wall (red) with
three towers covered by the black roofs. The highest tower is topped with
the small black cross.
Symbolism of the Coat of Arms is related to the urban character of the commune,
therefore distinguishing it from the surrounding villages - rural communes.
The open gate indicates openness and goodwill, the cross -Christianity.
There is no legal description of the flag available anywhere on the
net, but the addendum to the Town Council resolution of December 30, 2002,
as well as Mr.Kupski and Wikipedia, show that flag in glorious colors and
full splendor.
