Shield Argent, three wedges Azure in fess, n chief a pair of scales Azure on a wavy sword Azure, in base two pine branches Vert fruited Sable and garnished Or, joint at their stems. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CUNHA - BRAGA".
Meaning:
The word "cunha" means "wedge", and the arms are therefore partially canting. Sword and scales are an attribute of St. Michael, the local patron saint.
