The shield is Argent, in centre a caduceus Or topped by a pair of wings Azure flanked in dexter by a cogwheel Gules and in sinister by a mattock Vert Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading "FREGUESIA DE FAFE" in black upper case letters.
Meaning:
Caduceus and wings, attributes of winged messenger Mercury are symbolizing trading and commerce, the cogwheel is symbolizing industries and finally the mattock agriculture.
